Adidas decided to mark this occasion with another revolutionary boot exactly 50 years after the event in 2004.

The F50+ was a 2005 update designed by Rob Cook with a very distinctive "Spiderman" design. The lacingsystem was more user friendly and the TPU cage improved stability and durability of the mesh. The design had a totally smooth "sock-like" forefoot area for kicking, and was lightweight. The inspiration for the pattern on the outsole came from similar patterns in architecture that use cables and grids. For the boots, it provided a minimal way of creating flexible, lightweight and great fitting support for the players

NIKE MERCURIAL VAPOR

The Mercurial Vapor is a football boot manufactured by Nike. The boot is known for being lightweight. Because of this, the boot is favoured by many players for whom speed is a very important part of their game, notably wingers or strikers, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Ribery or Mesut Özil.
The boot is now in its ninth version the Nike Mercurial Vapor 9.
The boot is available in either Soft Ground (SG) (Now Soft Ground Pro SG-Pro) or Firm Ground (FG) versions. The SG version's sole plate is fitted with six NikeSnap removable studs,(now with molded plastic studs) which can be purchased in different lengths, for the first and second models, and traditional screw-in aluminium studs for versions 3 to 8; the FG version has seven moulded blades.

The origin of the Mercurial Vapors can be traced back to as early as 1998, when Ronaldo debuted the original Nike Air Mercurial boots. The boots were originally released in black, but a version in silver/blue/yellow was released for the 1998 World Cup and a blue/black version followed soon after. All boots were made in Soft Ground (SG) and Firm Ground (FG) varieties, with the SG version using non-removable studs. In 1999, the Mercurial 2 was released in two colourways: black/blue and black/red. These were identical in shape, size, and fit to the originals, but they had a different insole and a smaller swoosh on the side of the boot. The Mercurials were Nike's first boots to be made using synthetic materials, and also their first venture into the market of lightweight boots designed for speed

NIKE TOTAL 90

NIKE T90

Nike Total 90 is a brand of Nike sportswear and equipment first introduced in 2000, designed to be used for association football. The range consists mainly of shoes, shirts, and shorts, but also includes socks, shin guards, equipment bags, drink bottles, goalkeeper gloves, and balls. The Nike Total 90 range has now been replaced with Nike Hypervenom

In September 2011,[2] Nike revealed the latest incarnation of their signature power/accuracy boots; the Nike T90 Laser IV. This latest incarnation did away with the silicon pods and TPU rubber fins of the Laser III, and introduced 'strips' of hard rubber to the forefoot which shift and bend with the movements of the foot - with Nike coining the name 'Adaptive Shield' for this new technology.[3] The Laser IV also features TPU swerve fins to generate friction and ball spin, and a Power Zone that improves strength and accuracy when striking the ball.
